Meine Werke reichen von der Reduzierung auf das Substanzielle und Wesentliche mit lyrischen und verhaltenen Nuancierung bis hin zu stark haptischer und dynamischer Malgestik.
Durch das Setzen von Strichen als Formelement und Hinzufügen von Farbfeldern als unmittelbare Attraktion des Moments, vermitteln meine bildnerischen Arbeiten einerseits Stille, kontemplatives Schaffen, andererseits aber auch energetische Expressivität.Striche, Chiffren türmen sich wie Erdformationen und mischen sich mit farbig Gestaltetem zu einer autonomen Totalität. Kräftig gesetzte Textur – der Strich als sichtbare Aktion weisen als Rhythmus von Lebensspur auch auf die Authentizität und Direktheit in der Verschmelzung von Subjekt und Objekt hin. Der Ausdruckswert des Materials lässt neben ästhetischem Inhalt den bildnerischen Dialog zwischen Körper und Material erahnen. Somit steht nicht das bloße Abbilden der äußeren Wirklichkeit im Vordergrund sondern vielmehr geht es um das freie Interpretieren und um eine Beobachtung der Welt im Spiegel des eigenen Inneren.

My works embody two contrasting dimensions. Their focus may shift from substance and essence – accomplished through lyrical and subtle nuances – to broad haptic and dynamic painting expression.

By applying strokes as shaping elements and adding colorfields as immediate centres of attention, my paintings not only convey peace and quiet but also energetic expressiveness.

Strokes, commas, ciphers accumulate like earth forms to melt into the colorful work, thus creating an autonomous entity.

Vigorously set texture and the stroke as visual act stand for the rhythm of life and attest to the authenticity of a subject and an object blending into one. The materials inherent expressive value enables the beholder to capture the works‘ esthetic qualities as well as the pictoric dialogue unfolding between body and material components.

It is not the mere superficial perception of reality that takes centre stage. The exhibits on display translate into a free interpretation and observation of the world as reflection of life within.
